If you’ve had enough of chocolate and want to experience the great Welsh outdoors, what better way than a lovely walk along the stunning Wales Coastal Path, Wales is the first country in the world to have a dedicated footpath that hugs the entire coastline. With 870 miles to choose from, you’re spoilt for choice. Take a picnic and spot along the way for a scenic re-fuel break.
Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunt – Bodnant Gardens, Tal-y-Cafn
Local favourite returns for 2019; set in the beautiful Bodnant Gardens, let the kids hunt for those lovely eggs and take in the spectacular views. The egg trail takes you through fields, woods, down hills, and across streams. Explore at your own pace and really appreciate nature all around you.
Easter 5k Promenade Dash – Llandudno Promenade
If chocolate isn’t on the menu, maybe give the 5k dash a try? Set along the flat promenade in Llandudno, it’s suitable for runners of all abilities. The route is accurately measured, so those die-hard runners amongst you can try and record a PB.
Beaumaris Castle Easter Eggstravanganza – Beaumaris
Head back 700 years to experience what life was like; with events and activities happening all weekend there’s excitement for everyone. All weekend there will be a Knights School where kids and adults can try on armour, see how brave archers attacked and defended the castle and a spear drill. Jester workshops – bring your best jokes!
